Mission: Impossible – Fallout (2018) starring Tom Cruise, Henry Cavill, and Ving Rhames. Directed by Christopher McQuarrie.

Mission: Impossible is one of the best selling action film franchises of all time. Fallout is the sixth installment of the franchise. The film follows Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his crew of IMF have to join forces with CIA Assassin, August Walker (Henry Cavill), to prevent a catastrophic disaster. Arms dealer, John Lark, and his terrorist group known as The Apostles plan to use three plutonium cores for a simultaneous nuclear attack on the Vatican, Jerusalem and Mecca, Saudi Arabia. When the weapons go missing, Ethan and his crew find themselves in a desperate race against time to prevent them from falling into the wrong hands.

I’m a huge fan of the Mission Impossible series. I have been since i saw MI3 in 2003, when I was in 4th grade. This film, like most in the franchise, was out of this world good. It’s one of my favorite actions movies since Mad Max: Fury Road. It’s a roller coaster ride that has very little time to stop. From the stunt work, to the action, and even the soundtrack by Lorne Balfe. The sound design and score just blended in so well and you could feel it in your chest at some points. The supporting cast was awesome. Cavill was an average but physical villain. My only negative with the film was the various plot changes and swerves. It at some times confused me and made me want to rewind the film to see what I might have missed. I will be seeing this again soon and picking it up on Blu-ray this Holiday season. I highly recommend it to any Tom Cruise fan or action film fan.
